How the OMNIA Card works
Two parts, two activations, and a desk to visit for the 72-hour card. The rules in short.

Reserve each sight
Every attraction is reserved individually through the link on your voucher. The Vatican Museums need a time slot; the voucher for it arrives by e-mail up to 24 hours before the slot. The Colosseum is booked online through the Roma Pass part. - 2
Collect the 72-hour card
The 72-hour package is collected at an issuer desk on St Peter's Square or at the Lateran, Monday to Saturday during office hours. With a Vatican slot on the collection day, come at least an hour early. The 24-hour card is a QR code by e-mail. - 3
No cancellation
The card is sold without a right of withdrawal. Once bought, it cannot be cancelled or refunded, neither by the issuer nor by Tiqets. The Vatican part and the Roma Pass part activate separately and run independently.
Weighing it up
What speaks against the OMNIA Card, and who it is for
Against it: the 72-hour package has to be collected at a desk in Rome during office hours from Monday to Saturday, so an arrival on a Sunday means a lost day. Nothing can be cancelled. The children's card carries the Vatican part only, without the two museums and the transport, which makes the card an expensive route for families. The open bus does not stop at the Colosseum for the time being, and St Peter's is included only as an audio guide, not the climb to the dome.
For whom: visitors whose trip centres on the Vatican, who want the Vatican Museums with a reserved slot, the Lateran and the audio guide for St Peter's in one card, and who will use the Roma Pass part for the Colosseum or Castel Sant'Angelo and for the metro and buses over three days.
Alternatives: if you only need the Vatican Museums, the single ticket with a time slot is the cheaper route. If transport and two museums are the point, the Roma Pass alone does that. All six in the comparison.
